Last season's schedule was announced on September 28th, while the men's was announced on the 15th, so...When will the Big East announce the women’s schedule ? In this over-wrought frenzy of the 21st century it should have been released SIMULTANEOUSLY with the men’s slate.
Is it just me, or are there not very many exciting home games this year? Except for USC, it seems like all our big OOC games are away or at a neutral site. And none of our Big East games seem particularly exciting this year either.
I hear ya but....we play So.Cal on Dec 21 at XL and we play Iowa State at Mohegan on Dec 17 both will be highly ranked. So, yeah the 2 year scheduling has ND, SC, Tennessee all on the road this year with the return home gams in 2025-26. Blame the pathetic BE women's programs for not getting better for the dearth of other home games. Is it just me, or are there not very many exciting home games this year? This schedule really sucks. Only USC is a marquee team, and it's a good thing it is at the XL to go with the other heavy hitters like Providence, Butler, and Xavier. I'm sure that the only reason USC is at XL is because the students will be on Christmas break. I have never seen such a non-competitive home schedule for a long, long time. They have to cut down on these neutral site games so we can see these good teams. Horrible, j
NIL is a big part of why you see so many neutral sitesThis schedule really sucks. I think this was announced last season though.I’m disappointed the UNC game will be held in Greensboro instead of Chapel Hill. I have relatives near there and was hoping to arrange a visit around the game.
Technically this is a neutral site game, and that's why last year they played at Mohegan Sun and not Gampel or XL.I think this was announced last season though.
Here you go.....

]Wouldn't be soooooooooooooo nice to have another 40-0 season. It would be their second time achieving that record of 40 wins, the first being the 2013-14 team. The Good news is that making the NC Finals (might as well win while they are there!!!) gets the Huskies into their 40th game!!!
The five tough games (in regular season, chronologically) are:
uNd @ South Bend, 12/12/24
ISU @ Mohecan Sun, 12/17/24
USoCal @ XL, 12/21/24
Creighton (BE) @ Omaha, 1/25/25 [got to have one of the BE games in here - substitute for the Evil Orange Empire grudge match, which isn't so "grudgy" lately - more grungy though...]
Dawn's USC(arolina) @ Columbia, SC [could be #1 vs #2 matchup on the road], 2/16/25.
Important (milestone) games:
UNC @ Greensboro, NC, 11/15/24 (win ties van Deveer @1216 wins)
FDU @ Gampel, Weds 11/20/24 (most college BB coaching wins all time @ 1217 in fourth game (that counts) of season)
12th NC (with win) vs. Whomever @ Tampa, FL, 4/6/2025 & of course the five games that preceded it (WIN & Stay IN!!!)
Go Huskies!!!!
