Concordia?

Article in yesterday's Courant explains why. Their coach is former East Hartford High star Tyler Jones. Jones was the coach of the Connecticut Pride when they won the CBA title. You may recall that Pride team was led by one Kevin Ollie. As a side note, Jones beat prostate cancer and cancer awareness is one of his avocations. The article mentions that Concordia is donating is piece of their guarantee to Phil's Friends, a Chicago-based organization that assembles and delivers gift packages to cancer patients . Jones and his team are spending the morning at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center delivering packages on Phil's Friends behalf. Sounds like a classy group, I'm glad we are playing them.
