The only thing that is slightly disconcerting to me is the fact that the C-USA number actually gets BETTER by losing their teams. Which conference does Memphis play in again??? ;)

Memphis is absolutely going to kill any conference ranking for the Big East.

It was a moronic, add then and it still is now.

Tennessee-Martin, Arkansas State and Middle Tennessee. Are you fcking kidding me?

The other thing to note is this: By taking our two worst teams in Syracuse and Pitt, the ACC has forced us to take weaker teams as well, making both conferences' numbers weaker next year (-4 composite points each). In other words, the ACC has helped to ruin two conferences, not one...:mad::oops::eek:

It's funny you say that because I remember Big East schools saying the same thing about UConn when they were joining. We seem to be progressing nicely. I'm sure given time Memphis will too. So will Temple.

Also, the addition of LaTech (#41 currently) helps CUSA.

fyi, Big gainers this week
  • Pitt +22 (95 to 73) after win over VT
  • Fresno St +21 (83 to 62) by trashing Colorado
  • Rutgers +17 (53 to 36)
Top falls:
  • So Miss -24 (60 to 84)
  • VaTech -23 (22 to 45)
  • Ark -21 (28 to 49)

what site do u get these #'s from?

Not enough cross reference at this point to be meaningful. You need four or five games. Soon.

Massey has us going 3 - 6 the rest of the way. For a 5 -7 season.

But next week is essentially a 50-50, which, would be 6-6 if we win. Have to agree that @RU, @UL look like losses. We should be competitive w/ Cincy @ home however, and against Syracuse on the road. Likewise, Pitt @ home isn't a sure win, depending on which Pitt shows up. USF on the road is a tough one. They should certainly be favored. So with some improvements on offense I can see 7 wins within reach, 8 would be a hell of an achievement.
