  • UConn sneaks ahead of Baylor, and MD does the same to Penn St - rest of top 10 same
  • Okla St gets leap of the week, moving #22 to #14 (coach of yr contender?)
    • SC, Colorado, GB, and Mich St also had solid moves up
    • TAMU had big pts gain (+13%), but still a ways to break into top 10
  • Oklahoma tumbles #18 to #26
    • Purdue, UCLA, GA, Villanova, Vandy withl notable drops
  • Host sites St Johns (#53), Ohio St (#64), LSU (#69) still not looking good
  • Big12 leads with 7/10 in the top 50
    • ACC 6/12, SEC 7/14, B10 6/12
    • BE has 7/15
    • Pac 4/12
    • A10 has 3/14

Today's result ...

Will surely solidfy UConn's hold at #1. Be interesting to see just how much Duke drops. Despite the loss, their weak RPI (#14) may rise, which will partially offset the Sagarin & Massey drops.

Will surely solidfy UConn's hold at #1. Be interesting to see just how much Duke drops. Despite the loss, their weak RPI (#14) may rise, which will partially offset the Sagarin & Massey drops.

UConn significantly widened its lead at #1. And Duke suffered little in the computers while gaining in the RPI, so it maintains a decent lead over Cal.
They'll take a bigger hit after next wks AP poll though, but may still hold at #5.

Meanwhile, Penn St's big win causes a #10 to #8 jump.
