Forgive me for posting this, came across a disturbing fact. Don't ever do meth. It has become popular around CT. Pass that onto everyone you know. It is a quick death and definite death in "long term" use.

Yes, I copied and pasted from the football board, but that's not important.

You would think the popularity of breaking bad would make people less likely to do meth

Not so disturbing fact: on set of breaking bad the blue meth is actually rock candy and the actors/actresses snack on it between scenes

Am disabled and been around sh!tloads of druggies just because of weed. I don't hang around druggies anymore. This is definitely going to take out a good percentage of the disabled population. Came across at an article at my pharmacist saying meth is becoming popular in CT. Some priest in Bridgeport was busted with $300K of meth. There's people cooking pounds of that in car trunks. Just had to say something. I don't watch "Breaking Bad", so no idea what that show is like.

Yeah, I wish someone said something earlier. I had no idea it would become popular, myself.

Also, don't give blow jobs to strangers at the bus station. It's not hygienic.

So, to recap...

1) Don't do meth. It is bad.

2) Don't give blow jobs to strangers at the bus station.

However, if you do find yourself doing meth and it inevitably spirals down into giving blow jobs to strangers at the bus station, don't give them away for free. You need to keep your dignity.

So I guess that will be #3.

1) Don't do meth. It is bad.

2) Don't give blow jobs to strangers at the bus station.

3) Just because you are giving meth-crazed blow jobs to strangers at the bus station does not mean you abandon your dignity. Price them at the high-end of the market.

Also, don't drink Merlot - it's pretentious.

Color me slow, but is meth becoming more of a hit with the disable folk than the general population? I was following this thread until your excerpt above.

Anyway, I'll close with lasting wisdom from Mr. Mackey:

When you see what meth does to the face (meth-mouth), it is horrifying. Some people will do anything to chase the ultimate high. Methlabs are very dangerous, and sometimes explode or ignite. People are also killed this way.

An interesting fact: During WWII, the Japanese gave their kamakazees(sp?) methamphetamines. One side effect is that it makes people feel unusually brave.

I work in a pharmacy and there are major restrictions on what we can sell due to methlabs. We can't even give out a book of matches, because, when making meth, people will use trimmings from the matchheads. Thanks for brining up this very important topic.

There is a higher proportion of constant substance abuse amongst disabled people from my experiences. They don't work, have nothing to do, besides maybe kill pain. I've seen plenty of healthy people throw themselves to the wolves, too.

Where were you in 1994 when I needed this advice?

I don't know if this is everywhere, but in New York, we can't buy cold medicine with showing a driver's license and signing for it.

That was the first sign for me that cold medicine could be made into something more entertaining.

Exactly. And it's in CT, too.

I think cold medicine was the key ingredient in the Flaming Mo, which was all the rage in Springfield for most of an episode.

Maybe the Simpsons are to blame for this.
