It would be interesting to compare the rosters for when the TASSK arrived at UConn and 20012 when the latest Big three Arrived. Which class was surrounded with the best talent for their four years. I suspect when its all said and done the 2012 was surrounded by the most talent.

Lets see - Sveta 3x AA, Shea AA, plus Duran, Schumacher, Sauer, and then augmented by DT 2xNPOY, Battle, Moore, and Conlon - 2002 class has some serious help along the way.

Sveta and Shea? Which team are you talking about? 2001-2002 or 2002-2003. There's just a bit of a difference. Also, Sveta and Shea last played for UConn on the 2000-2001 team.

The OP was speaking about the teams that were in place when the two blockbuster classes arrived so 1998-9 returning players and 2012-13. And then reinforcements arriving after those classes were already on campus.

There is no comparison. Each was tremendous in their time and place with the Talented players on each team.
A different game, albeit with the same name and numbers.
This is an exercise in analytical skills with no outcome.
This is a parent (fans) of twins and asked to outline the virtues/attributes/skills/personalities of each and then select one as the best (I know you didn't say select one--I just threw that in)

2002 team--I've looked to for years as the very best
2016 team- I've just had the pleasure of watching excellence in basketball (again) with 5 very talented player.

Sveta was a pleasure to watch--her numbers were not as my memory would indicate but I loved to watch her Shea for her size she would go against bigs under the basket and put the ball in the hole somehow.. Morgan Tuck was the 2016 version of Shea.. Paige Sauer was a bit of a disappointment to me--in the BE tourney at Rutgers--if you were there you heard me screaming put Paige in-- he did and Riley ate her alive--much to my chagrin !!! Conlon a Derby Connecticut woman was and is my Connecticut favorite of those teams---she did us Nutmeggers proud..
