Sorry if I missed this been away . The reference she and the other guy made about us not being in next years tourney sounded like it was a done deal. Thought we still had a shot , that they were still considering using 2011 and 2012 apr scores or has that and any other chance already gone by the wayside. Sorry about bring this up after a nice win.

It's not a done deal - they're deciding on whether or not to use the 2010-11 scores, but a decision likely won't be reached until April.

Even if the NCAA decides against using the 2010-11 scores, this will be far from over. UConn will probably file a waiver, and if that's denied they will bring the NCAA to court for implementing the rules retroactively.

I have a feeling that they will reverse the decision and allow us to play in the tournament by using the most recent scores -- but the NCAA will drag their feet long enough to make our current players waiver about their future. Lamb and Drummond will declare for the draft and maybe a surprising transfer will appear. Then, the NCAA will make their decision, but the damage will have been done.

The U. Louisiana Monroe decision (or whoever got the waiver) looms large. I can't see how they distinguish that school from UConn.
