what are some of the biggest single game comebacks the uconn women have had?

One that comes to mind is the 2010 NCAA Final against Stanford. UConn was down 8 at the half, which is not all that much except Huskies had only scored 12 points, down 20-12.

Righted the ship in the second half and won 53-46.

They have come back from bigger deficits to win, but that is the one that sticks out to me because of how crazy the score was.

Another more recent one, also odd, was Senior Day 2016 against Tulane. UConn was down 11 at one point in the first quarter before Stewie et al wiped away the tears and won 80-40. Freshman KLS led the way with 21.

Greatest comeback, not in points, but in situation was the 38-32 deficit at the end of the first half in the 95 NC against TN , with UConn's best 3 players in such foul trouble. Absolutely no way Huskies coming back from that! :-)

To add to Huskee11's post, we were actually down 9 at one point IIRC. That game looked like the Twilight Zone, where everything is different from what one expects, e.g., Tina missing layups she probably made in grade school, etc. Then, in the 2nd half, Maya hit a jump shot, and the rules of reality reasserted themselves. We were up 15 right at the end, a swing of 24 points, but then, after the game was essentially over, Stanford dropped 3 3's. So, the final score of winning by 6 is a bit deceiving. I also remember the very short handshake between Geno and Tara. Tara seemed really miffed. I suspect she really thought Stanford was going to win that one. But Maya is Maya, as BYer's know so very well.

Weren't they down 17 to DePaul once and came back to win? Forgot the year. And last year's Miss St. game would have been a big come back if they had won because UConn was getting blown out in that game.

In the Taurasi years (2003 or 2004), in the national semifinal against Texas. I think they were down nine in
the fourth quarter in a low scoring game. I didn't think they would win that one but they did.

And right before that, maya ran down the DePaul player for the steal and called time out
Yup. Those were perhaps the best back-to-back thrilling plays. UCOnn had no business winning that game, but those plays were incredible.

I cannot recall a worse half of officiating. I have always suspected that the refs got a major dressing down at the half.
