If you didn't click on it yet, here is some bait: Napheesa's grandfather was the first ambassador to the US from Sierra Leone. He met with JFK on 11/20/1963, two days before the assassination. He may have been the last foreign diplomat to meet with JFK. There is a picture of him with JFK in the Oval Office included in the article.

Her grandfather was also Sierra Leone's first ambassador to the UN.
