Quick thoughts:
-Aggressive Rodney is my favorite kind of Rodney. Even if he can't finish, that has to be his game. He is just a bull.
-Kentan is demanding more and more time out there, dude's killing it in his opportunities.
-Early subs were certainly warranted. Jalen continues to play well.
-They just look discombobulated early on. Ugly.
-At least we held them to only 2 points in the last 8 minutes of the first half to take control of the game.
-Should've been that way from the word go, but give credit to Sacred Heart, they took it to us.
-27-2 run is alright.
-Bobby Valentine is the AD at Sacred Heart? Who knew?
-That near Jalen follow dunk though, woulda been nice.
-Love Omar. Wish he had never gotten hurt.
-That Nowicki for SHU is a walking turnover. Looks like he ate quite a few too many of the apple variety as well.
-Jalen is just getting more and more comfortable.
-Enoch with a little miniature dream shake!
-So it took them nearly all of the first half to wake up, but once they did they were pretty merciless.
-Too many missed defensive assignments. Everybody is losing their man way too easily.
-We are lucky we had far superior athletes in this one.
-UConn was Jekyll and Hyde in this one. The first 15 min of the 1st half and the first 5 min of the second were terrible. After that they just destroyed them. I was hoping for absolute destruction from the start. Coming out with the fire needed to do that is clearly going to be a learning process

UConn in the NBA: Ugh, Kemba got toasted by Steph Curry 40-4 on 2-16 shooting as the Hornets lost, he had been playing so well too. Jeremy was better with his usual 13 pts. Drum had 22 and 12 as his Pistons won in OT over the Suns.

Future UConn opponents: CCSU lost to Brown 82-64

Former UConn opponents: #14 Cuse lost to Wisconsin 66-58 (Haha. I'll never be able to root for them, even for RPI purposes), Maine lost to Army 84-71

Top 25 Action: #3 MSU beat #24 Louisville 71-67 (Early POY Denzel with 25 pts, 5 rbs, 7 ast#7 Duke beat Indiana 94-74, #13 Gonzaga beat WSU 69-60, #16 Vandy beat Detroit 102-52, #18 Texas A&M beat FGCU 75-65, #23 Providence beat Hartford 89-66 (Kris Dunn with a triple-double 16 pts, 10 rbs, 14 ast, ho-hum), #25 Baylor beat Prairie View A&M 80-41

Our AAC Chum(s): #17 Cincy lost to Butler 78-76 (Damnit!), #22 SMU beat TCU 75-70, UCF beat Stetson 94-85 (Tacko with a big game 23 and 11), Tulane beat New Orleans 64-62 (Phew), Houston beat Murray St. 93-78, Tulsa beat Ok St. 66-56 (Nice win for the league), Temple beat Fairleigh Dickinson 79-70

P5 Winners: Notre Dame beat Illinois, Texas Tech, ASU beat Creighton, Miss St. (Malik Newman with 9 pts), Colorado, LSU (How does a team give up 108 pts to North Florida? Simmons with 43/14/7/5/3), Penn St. beat BC, Clemson, url=http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/boxscore?gameId=400814243]Auburn[/URL]

Other Notes: Traci Carter had 5 pts, 10 ast, 6 rbs as Marquette won, Fordham beat St. John's, Seton Hall lost to George Washington (I just hope they keep losing so that Myles Powell can get released from his commitment when Willard loses his job at the end of the year)
