Guy has "onions", makes the biggest plays at the biggest moments. Great college player that probably won't have a great NBA career, but will certainly make money playing professionally.

Unfortunately for Nova, he only has two or three years of eligibility left

What is “problem no more”?
I felt like the answer he was looking for was kryptonite, but I like your answer better.

More “Mad Libs”

colin g is our teacher.
we've had 3 classes with him and his maestro, coach jay, and almost played them to a push. almost. no real damage as the results didn't fundamentally change our obvious ascent, with the only important test yet to come. similarily constituted tho less accomplished, coach dan understands the value of regularly playing him is educational.
colin g is the smartest player in cbb this year.
we did a relatively good job of managing his impact in our games. the last two? a win and a narrow loss.
im certain that his schooling us, and everyone else, is a lesson that won't be lost on us going forward as we're pretty smart, too. if we get further than 'expected' in the tourney, professor g will be one of the reasons.
first in BE 3 ball percent (.422), first in BE win shares (5.8), last in the hearts of his opponents. two time BE poy, he's already won an ncaa title. this season, the refs took away his seemingly illegal back down move.
the result? BE poy, BET mvp.
cut the head off of the snake and all that's left is sooshee to be leisurely enjoyed.

opponent
UConn has played against better players and he really hasn't been a UConn killer
The guy has guts and can be clutch but I still don't regard him as lofty as others
He is a really good college player
It probably ends there
He'll make some Nova alumni led company a lot of $ working in the PR Department
I don't hate the kid and don't love him either - I do respect his grit

I’ll take annoying competitor for $1000 please.
But if he played for us half the board would want him on the wall.
The kids ability to make good decisions under duress is why we lost. That’s a special skill. He turned great defensive stops into Nova baskets. Maybe not daggers but death by a lot of little cuts.
No he is not an NBA prospect but that’s meaningless in an NCAA game.
Was Boatright a prospect ?

Agreed. And as an opponent, that’s annoying.

I see Gillespie as a late 2nd rd pick. An NBA career will have to be based on luck. He has to make the most of his opportunities in training camp and summer league, professional sports you have the fewest opportunities, especially as a late rd pick. I guarantee he goes right into coaching when his playing career is over.

Could actually see the Sixers taking him late 2nd rd as a novelty pick.
