I am now hearing her name as a possible candidate for the Mississippi State job. Does anyone know whether she was considered for the University of Tennessee opening? Looking at her credentials I am wondering if that was the case.

She's has had a good 3 year run at ODU; I wonder if the TN opening came a year too early for people to have confidence in giving her a close look.

What this does show is how well the Pat Summitt coaching tree seems to reach and get jobs. Whether or not any of her brood are truly elite is another matter.

Curious to compare Pat's tree to MM's and see what the relative winning percentage is. Let's face it, Geno only has a "shrub" to use as most of his assistants have stayed at his side for quite a few years where as Pat was constantly changing hers and so was MM for a while and their numbers are more significant. Then again, there's something to be said for stability of 11 NCAAT's...

Be an interesting choice 41-13 record in the last two years is pretty decent. Generally would prefer a bit more than a three year HC record, but 9 years with Dawn at SC adds to her appeal.
