Josh welcomed Coach Hunter back by playing ferociously in the paint down low. Music to Chief’s ears. It was great having at least two guys crashing the boards at the rim rather than the pedestrian 4 men on the three line approach.
Agree, great having Coach Hunter in the house coaching the Bigs.
“Kenya is a real professional coach. He’s excellent with the bigs and he’s got a great way about him,” Hurley said. “Real calm, real poised and real smart professional coach. It balances off some of my insane emotional outbursts.”
I have noticed that Hurley is not the type to sit on the bench with a scowl on his face and the players clearly like and respect him. The PT thing is always going to be a point of conflict for every coach and team because all of these kids want to play a lot. Hurley still on the honeymoon but ya gotta like what you see.
