There are many people who seem to have inside information on this board. And no sarcasm is intended in that statement. So if some know he is playing for sure then of course that is great news. I guess the pragmatist in me would have a few questions. It was initially reported 3-4 weeks. So today is the last day of the four week estimate. On that information it would seem to be perfectly rational to expect he could play tonight. However it has been stated many times that feet and big men over 7’ can be worrisome. He has lost weight which is good since from a basic physics standpoint it puts less stress on his feet. I would think if there is an over riding medical opinion that not playing him until the 1/28 is what is best that is what they will do. I don’t think there is much difference between today and Saturday. If they don’t think he is ready today then I really can’t believe that two days is going to change that trajectory. So I hope I am wrong but I think we may be part of a misinformation campaign. Make the opponent think the big man is playing so they have more to think about. Personally if that is the case I go back to an early post. If we are trying to mess with our opponents game plan have him dress even if he is not playing. It’s the perfect way to get the crowd in the game from the beginning.
