Considering the outright mocking and abuse he received, it would take a big man to put aside ill feelings and step back up. Maybe he is that kind of guy.

Any grief he got was well deserved. That letter was an embarrassment.

Yeah, you're probably right, but when big money talks you listen, and sometimes find reasonable accomodation. Thats the price of big donor support. I'm quite sure the letter was not the first shot across the bow, but the last in utter frustration after being contemptuously ignored. It seems rather clear Burton was completely mismanaged at best and told to go screw at worst, and it blew up out of control. Unfortunately, there is little doubt that he appears to have been right about P.
 
My first thought is what a shame it is that JC will never sit behind a desk or run a practice in this beautiful facility. We owe a lot to that man!!

Actually JC has said in the past he will have an office in the practice facility.
