About that last shot!
Unbelievably poor coaching there by Cincinnati.
We're in a timeout and Tulsa will inbound the ball at mid-court. There's 4.6 seconds on the clock and Tulsa is down by a single point.
On the scoreboard Cincinnati has only fouled twice this quarter. In other words they can commit two fouls without Tulsa shooting foul shots. We could expect that each foul would use up at a minimum one second. This would leave Tulsa with about 2 seconds to get off a shot.
What happens: Well, Tulsa in-bounds and the player receiving the ball is allowed to dribble to the rim and "lucky for Cincinnati" she missed the gimme layup.
Clearly the instructions in the huddle was "DON'T FOUL"
Very, VERY poor.....
