Ok, it's a gloomy, late fall New England day, made gloomier by an epic UConn loss last night.
Perfect time to break out the Christmas music. I'm always on the hunt for interesting and different Christmas music. Two new finds for me so far this season are both New Orleans releases:
A New Orleans Creole Christmas, Irvin Mayfield & the New Orleans Playhouse Revue
Oh Crap, It's Christmas, Debbie Davis and Matt Perrine
And I'll add an older one (non New Orleans) that I stumbled upon in recent years and really like:
Charles Brown's Cool Christmas Blues, Charles Brown
As soon as I started up the Christmas music this morning, my eight year-old daughter started dancing and said how much she loves Christmas music. That sure made the day better for me.
What ya' got for good Christmas music, Boneyard?
