Chier Ajou

Just read an article on ESPN.com that Chier Ajou, a 7'2" center from Northwestern is transferring. The article also mentioned that he played his last 2 years of high school ball at St. Thomas Moore in Oakdale, Connecticut. Anybody know anything about this guy? Seems like he could be a nice addition considering he is over 7 feet tall and we have struggled big time with rebounding this season.

He weighs 240 per Yahoo Sports but that's when he was being recruited, he could have slimmed down or added some pounds since being at Northwestern

Last year played 30 mins, but sadly his averages per 40 are better than either of our starting options. Saying don't get crazy about this one isn't going to help this thread.

Probably is going to want to be close to his cousin, my guess would be Cleveland State, still I don't see any harm in Ollie reaching out to him to see if there is any interest on his part

@NJHoopsHaven: Looks like Seton Hall plugged a hole at center for next year with 7-foot Northwestern transfer Chier Ajou. Will be eligible next December.
