We had 6 assists, Cole had 3 and everyone else combined for 3.

13 blocks for UConn compared to 1 for MSU.

12% 3pt shooting with Hawkins, Gaffney and Polley going a combine 0-8. Martin and Jackson 0-6 from 3. Jackson looks so hesitate and uncomfortable with his 3’s.

Sanogo shot just under 50% but his shot selection was really poor. The ones he missed included jump hooks from 12 feet out.

We had 6 assists and 9 turnovers. What’s scary good is we almost still won against a tough opponent.

What it comes down to is learning how to win. Too many sabotage plays towards the end of the last two games.

Hopefully sooner rather than later Sanogo will have better court vision and learn to kick it out to someone who could have a better shot.
Don't get me wrong, he is a key piece and can dominate his opponents in the paint but he is not superman.
Oh and BTW it hurt not having Whaley available. He is not in their for his offensive ability. He is in there to be disruptive and his high energy. It was obvious to see that Akok can't handle that position.

Do I dare say? If the doctors couldn’t find anything wrong with IW, why didn’t they let him play but have Hurley and the trainer/doctor monitor him? That's what winning programs do.

Now less than 24 hours later they are comfortable having IW play and it’s no issue?

Decisions should be about the player’s health based on medical data /observation/diagnosis. Not about a doctor getting accolades for exercising abundant caution. Caution from what?
