Angel looks great. Had a 48-36 pt lead with 2+ minutes in half, sat Angel down and Sky went on 10-0 run with Vandersloot taking over.

On the UConn fromt, Gabby looks alot better. :)

She is now a true offensive threat. Azure making 3pt shots and running the floor but her defense is still an issue. Not sure about Stephanies conditioning. Looks very slow but she knows how to set up her teammates and can still clog the middle on defense(and hot a 3pt shot)

Aces need McBride to step up. Only has 2 pts on 0 for 6 shooting.

Bizarre how the Aces are constructed in today's WNBA. Only 1 3pt attempt after 3Q.

McCoughtry had a great game, but seemed to choke when it counted.

Sky escape with the win, 88-86.

Mentally choked by not taking Dolson off the drive when she had the last shot. Good revenge for last year. Gabby in on everything at the end. She has definitely solidified her position on the team as a 2 way weapon

That 3pt shot by Quiqley to take the lead was one of the best clutch shots I have seen. She came in off the bench pretty cold.

Didn't get to watch. Swords starting over Hamby, does that seem weird? Wilson and Hamby are a dynamic duo.

Slootie picking up where she left off, 11 assists. With a shortened season she won't break her own record for total assists in a season, but maybe she can break her record for highest average per game.

Young as the 1st pick in an WNBA draft, one of the worst picks of all time. She doesn't do anything well enough to be a star in the league.

Lambeer likes Hamby off the Bench (6th player of the year). She gets the important minutes.

I recorded the game but the recording stopped before the game ended. The Sky was losing by about five points with less than about two minutes to score so I thought they lost. I was surprised when I saw the final score. What happened?

Parker layup. Pair of made free throws for Copper and then this:

Sugar Rodgers had a shot at a corner 3 on the Aces next possession but couldn't knock it down.

She's played 1 season and 1 game while joining a title contender.....give her a little bit of time

The Aces need another Forward who can score and a another guard that can make plays both ways. Jackie young could be that guard but she seemed very lost today and McBride was very disappointing. Worley-Talbert and Swords aren’t going to cut it in the front court rotation and that’s going to put a lot of strain on Wilson and Hamby. They should try to acquire a forward for a draft pick IMO. If Herbert Harrigan is going to get the Natasha Howard treatment from Reeve then trade for her, she could play very well alongside versatile forwards like Hamby and Wilson.

The reason they today lost was getting outscored 27-0 from beyond the arc. Plain and simple. Vegas matched or outdid Chicago in every other area today. Kayla McBride is normally very consistent for about 15 points and put up 2 today on zero field goals.

Aces will be very strong inside with 6-5 Wilson and 6-3 Hamby. They won the rebound battle by 9 today and their frontcourt scored 71 of their 86 points. Their three highest scorers were three forwards. They don't need any help at the 3/4 with Angel/Hamby/A'ja all there. They have probably the best forward trio in the league. I don't get the Swords love but she's a big body who can spot minutes and knows Bill's system and coaching style well.

I think 3pt shooting is the biggest question mark. Literally the only big threat from deep is McBride. The trio of PG options don't take threes, Angel is a career 29% shooter from deep, Hamby can knock down an open look but doesn't take many or shoot a high percentage, and A'ja/Swords don't shoot from deep. That's a lot of pressure on McBride. All that said, even with zero perimeter scoring they nearly won the game. Aces I think are a complete team that will win a lot of games this year.

Nice game by Gabby! She was much more effective than Diamond.

to be fair, Diamond was battling some type of ankle issue I think but Gabby has really improved alot. And I love watching her run a fast break making the simple direct pass so quickly. And she had some fierce rebounds and good defensive plays as well.

I agree shooting is definitely the biggest question marks but I was taking into account how many minutes Wilson and Hamby played yet Swords and Tolbert played 29 minutes combined with only Swords having some sort of impact and she nearly fouled out. Against better teams with complete rosters the Aces are going need some type of help from the post. I’m thinking in terms of how much minutes Wilson and Hamby will have to play in as many games. I think Swords and Tolbert are going to have to be better than what they were yesterday for the Aces to be title contenders.

But more importantly, Lambeer has to learn how to shave and comb his hair and burn that headband, Just because there is no barber in the bubble is no excuse.
