Smart of Carter to wait it out and see what happens with everything going on. Furthermore makes Walker's abrupt departure all that much more unexpected. Blair thinks she'll go 3-8, my guess is she is no higher than 4th and no lower than 6th. If this draft happens, it looks a LOT stronger now with Carter, Walker and Sabally all in the mix. Dallas getting all of those draft picks ain't looking so bad now.

Pretty sure they're friends but both have similar styles of play that likely dont mesh well together. Carter is a risky pick for whoever takes her since she is such a volume shooter and isnt very efficient. She has all of the skills to be great though. I would take Walker/Hebard over her if I'm Dallas since you already have a better player with a similar skill set in Arike. Dream at 4 or Lynx at 6 would be a good fit.

Cant imagine Hebard drops that low. I think Dallas would be smart to take her at 7 if available. There isnt a need for a PG like Harris/Cooper if Jefferson healthy. Plus you have Arike who played point last year and Walker who may be a 2 in the league.

Me either, but then I was taken aback last year when Gustafson slipped to the second round, then cut. I was not at all surprised that Gustafson was successful once she was brought back.
