My error. I was glancing at the ESPN ticker while doing a few other things a bit earlier. I thought it said Texas but it could have said Texans (there is a thread on this board that I just saw stating he is about to be named their head coach). Either way, this kid is now verballed to a school with no head coach.

I'd say this squashes any idea that it would be grades that took him from his commitment to Uconn to Temple and now to Penn State.

We've seen it happen before a commit switching to Temple. But PSU being the academic institution that it is, I would say this is clearly not one of those cases.

I don't think there is going to be a change here. He stated that PSU has been his dream school from the time he was a kid. I'm not sure that he really cares who the HC is...just that he now has a scholly to attend!

I will say of the guys we have lost in the class, he was one I was really hoping to sign. He's a big bodied OL who seems to be pretty athletic. Can't teach size and he's got it. Would have been nice to have him on the squad and coach him to see what he could become.

I read an article from a PSU writer and it stated that Chasz is a "run- on" obriens term for walk ons. It also said he could possibly get a schollie sometime down the road. Does anyone know if this writer is correct in saying wright is gonna be a walk on?
