Tennessee has honestly been looking at her for about a month. She never even had an offer from us yet.

What was her offer list?
Back in mid-August it was Furman, St. Joseph’s, WCU, App. State, Winthrop, UNCG, UNCW, UNCC, Old Dominion, FIU, Howard: LINK
But this recent tweet claims she chose Kentucky over Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Indiana, and East Carolina: LINK. Of course it's certainly possible that she had not received offers from all these schools, as MTSU claims. It could just be that these were the schools in her final list.

A thread about a player no one has heard of reportedly committing to Kentucky over Tennessee. A Tennessee fan says the Vols never offered and then a ND fan responds to a South Carolina fan telling us about all the mid-major schools who were recruiting this player we've never heard of, complete with a link to her twitter page.

Gotta love the boneyard.

Foregoes scheduled visit to Lady Vols to Verbal to Kentucky.

Ahem.

Thanks for the opportunity to invite attention to a most troublesome task: identification of the correct word between two that are similar (e.g., rein/reign, affect/effect, etc.) In this instance forgo or forego?

Here I believe that forgo (to give up or relinquish something) is preferable to forego (which means to precede); think of foregone conclusion or foreplay.

I enjoy your reading your "Ahem" posts. I don't post too often but I would like to take a moment and offer some supporting documentation.

"On his 74th birthday, a man got a gift certificate from his
wife. The certificate paid for a visit to a medicine man
living on a nearby reservation who was rumored to have a
wonderful cure for erectile dysfunction. After being
persuaded, he drove to the reservation, handed his ticket to
the medicine man and wondered what he was in for.

The old man slowly, methodically produced a potion, handed
it to him, and with a grip on his shoulder, warned,
"This is powerful medicine and it must be respected.
You take only a teaspoonful and then say 1-2-3.
When you do that, you will become more manly than you
have ever been in your life and you can perform as long as
you want."

The man was encouraged. As he walks away, he turned and
asked, "How do I stop the medicine from working?"
"Your partner must say '1-2-3-4,' he responded.
"But when she does, the medicine will not work again
until the next full moon." He was very eager to see if
it worked so he went home, showered, shaved, took a spoonful
of the medicine, and then invited his wife to join him in
the bedroom.

When she came in, He took off his clothes and said,
1-2-3!

Immediately, he was the manliest of men.

His wife was excited and began throwing off her clothes.
And then she asked,˜What was the 1-2-3 for?

And that, boys and girls, is why we should never end our
sentences with a preposition because we could end up
with a dangling participle."

As the Duke fans patiently await the next JPM attack ;)

I think most of the criticism of JPM is of her treatment of her players, not of her coaching abilities. As was said recently about Holly: we hope she has a long career at Duke.:p We certainly don't want Tara getting ahold of that kind of talent.

No I think there has been ample criticism of her coaching ability too
