A few pictures from the arena after the game in case it was not shown on TV...
The newspapers reported 13,000 bought tickets but the fans in the stands were only 5,000 because of terrible traffic coming from the European side to the Asian side of the Bosphorus. Why the competition was scheduled on a national holiday weekend and on the Asian side of Istanbul is difficult to understand. It took us 2 1/2 hours to get to the arena from the northern European side. Left at 4PM and arrived at the arena at 6:30PM...
Anyway a great game, Connecticut style basketball, at its best...
