Part 1:

Georgia: IN
Michigan & Alabama: In with a W
Cinci: Likely in with a W, but if Mich/Ala/OkSt all win, then last spots gets dicey
ND: In 11/16 of the scenarios they are in. Generally if Mich or Ala lose, they're in.

In the Armageddon scenarios (the ones with ??), then it's Mich/Bama/Bay/Ore/OhSt/Miss tossup. Though Ohio St and Miss seem unlikely. Will likely coming down to the margin of victory/loss on Sat.

ND will be rooting hard for Ala/Mich/Cinci/OklSt to all lose.

If two of them do lose, Irish are almost surely in.
Slight chance if only 1 of them lose.

Cool ND will get in again and get completely embarrassed, for like the 5 time.

If Houston beats Cincy they will have a better win than half the teams that would get in ahead of them. But they won't beat Cincy from what we saw this week.

  1. Ga (1)
  2. Mich (5)
  3. Ala (3)
  4. Cin (4)
  5. Okl St (7)
  6. ND (6)
  7. Ohio St (2)
  8. Miss (9)
  9. Baylor (8)
  10. Ore (11)
  11. Mich St (12)
  12. BYU (13)
  13. Okla (10)
  14. Iowa (16)
  15. Pitt (17)
Got em all, except they had Okla & Iowa flipped

2) It's contingent on them beating Utah in the P12 CG.
That could be a problem. This whoopin' is looking a lot like the previous whoopin' a couple weeks ago. UO offense got NOTHING so far today.

Can remove Oregon.

Armageddon scenario is probably Baylor and bama/mich

So the "committee" so to speak is hoping for a Cinci loss-or OK St win to move them up to 4....Bearcats if they win earned it---the powers(5)that be will find a way to keep them out.

All the whiners can give up now — Cinci is now 100% in with a win.

(So watch them go out and lose.)

ND also sitting pretty. Irish make it unless Cinci and Mich AND Bama all win.

Cincy isn’t doing itself any favors today. Based on the eye test they certainly don’t look like one of the 4 best teams in the country.

Style points don’t really matter following Okies loss. Win and they’re in.

I looked at Notre Dame's schedule. They didn't play Michigan this year, what's up with that? No Michigan St. either. It's not a terrible schedule, but not particularly good either. They caught Wisconsin early when the Badgers were struggling. USC and Stanford were both awful. A bunch of ACC teams that collectively were a crap ton of mediocrity--North Carolina, UVa, GA Tech, VA Tech, Florida St. Purdue...more mediocrity. Add in Navy, Toledo and Cincinnati and serve. In a different era, this schedule could've been a murder's row. But not this season, that's for sure.

They ended the Mich michst series when they joined the ACC — they are required to play several ACC teams every year.

Still managed to squeeze 2 Big 10 teams onto the schedule. Ending one of the most storied rivalries in football is pretty weak sauce.
