Tenn vs Texas
Took a lazy... (Giants blacked out...) Sunday and watched the entire Orange/Burnt Orange contest.
We, I'm afraid, are spoiled if only watching UConn games.
This is the first time in YEARS! that I watched bb Centers walk nonchalantly up the court when the ball changed possession.
(And I mean BOTH teams' post players. Even if you're only a decoy on offense.. you can't leave your team playing 4 on 5!) Coaching? How can you transform THE highly touted #1 high school AA center into a loafer-part time rebounder? It is pain-full to watch a post use the same two step - weak spin move THREE times and never get a shot (or complete a pass).

6ft-7in doesn't do your team any good if you are still shuffling at 3/4 court when your guards are starting offense at the far foul line.
(Thank you... Tina... Stef... Heather... Kiah...)

We are very fortunate to have assistant coaches, who spend time teaching our big girls what it takes to be at their best.
Some of our big girls may come to Connecticut as a good player, but by the time they leave, they have shown outstanding progress in their game, and a lot has to do with the coaching they receive one on one.
