Meanwhile, on the local college scene this weekend:

Boston College MBB lost at home to an ordinary Notre Dame team, for the thirteenth time in a row.

Boston College WBB gave up a double digit lead in the 4Q, losing at home to Virginia Tech

Perennial Ice Hockey power Boston University, not great this year, lost to UMASS, going under .500.

Not a Patriot fan but happy that the old guys ruled the day.

Unfortunately the Revs lost to FC Krasnodar. But it was only preseason.

And even worse Kroenke's other team, Arsenal, also fell to defeat yesterday. 3-1 to Manchester City. :(

The Bruins defeated the Capitals for the first time in 1,772 days.

I just pray they don't go another 1,772 days before beating the Caps again.
