So what will they do? What should they do? Rarely has a team had more tradeable assets at this point in a winning season.
I think they will make a run at Paul George. Small Forward is the weakest spot on the roster, and he's a great all around player. Butler is more of a shooting guard, and while also a great all around player, will probably not mesh as well with Thomas.
But they shouldn't overpay for George. One of the Nets picks, maybe another lower 1st or multiple 2nd rounders, plus players. I would not be surprised to see Bradley traded. Smart has really developed and Rozier is a player, and Ainge knows it.
