Cecilia Zandalasini, the #4 recruit by Hoopgurlz, is ranked #1 among international prospects by Prospects Nation, (again ahead of Spanish star Angela Salvadores).

The article above says that she is waiting to sign until after her senior season. Perhaps she will play American college ball after all...

On an extremely tangential note, is her first name pronounced the proper Italian way, i.e., 'say-CHI-lee-ah"? Boggles my mind how Italian-Americans' names are so often anglocized.

We may not need any more players, but a coach with Italian heritage, and who is a part of the team USA coaching staff could use her. It's a long shot but Jen needs to reach for the stars (4 - 5 stars) and hopefully land one someday. We've seen small schools grab really good players, so why not U of H?
