Great article by the Courant's Jeff Jacobs on CCSU coach (and former New Britain HS coach) Beryl Piper and her team. Anyone that knows Beryl can agree that she is one of the most down to earth and genuine college coaches you could meet. Comes from her background as a successful HS and AAU coach, as well as a former public school teacher.

Good to see CCSU ladies bball exploding... I saw it coming when they first hired her... ... support their sports teams at www.ccsufans.com ... I frequent that site... They're next in line to us to rep CT..
