CBS Sports signs multiyear deal with WNBA

Hopefully they’re paying something, otherwise ESPN might start wondering why they pay anything. Of course, they might be obligated to acquire WNBA games in order to procure NBA games.

Hopefully with the newly acquired CBS deal success will come along with it and prove that there is a market for female sports

Hmm, I wonder if CBSSN is seeking more WNBA inventory as a response to ESPN moving more colleges sports content to ESPN+?

well there goes the $10 annual cost of getting the games streamed. This will move to CBS Sports and we will need to subscribe to see them at a much higher price.

Hmmm

Minnesota vs. Chicago on Saturday, May 25, will be the first game on the CBS Sports Network.

Anyone here have any interest in this one????:)
Can you imagine the UConn matchups in this game? Can't wait to see these teams play New York and Seattle, too.

Still no word about how much CBSSN paid for the rights???

Curiouser and curiouser......

Beats the heck out of the NBA channel, which prefers to show 25-year-old NBA games in low-def rather than live W games.
