Bazz is one of my favorites, so I am both pleased & relieved to hear that he's staying. No mention of Wolf...

We need front court depth and Facey's development is key. If we can get the ball we can run and we sure have the runners.

Not that it means much, but I haven't been as excited for a season as I am for next year since the 08-09 team.

The Tournament is all but a given. We should consider a Sweet 16 adequate; the Final Four is our goal.

Also, Bazz is 6'2? Maybe in high heels.
Ricky Moore was listed at 6'2" also. When the NBA measured him at the tryouts he had shrunk to 5'11". May have been an NCAA record for shrinkage.

Lol a tourney team? We were headed for a record of around 22-8 before we we were savaged by injuries. We return every player and our core will be a Sr PG, 2 juniors, and a sophomore. Yeah I'd say we are a tourney team. 15 is about right but conservative. Haven't really kept track of who everyone else is returning but some of the reasons given for teams ranked ahead of us in some polls seemed flimsy IE. Yeah Indiana loses a lot but man they have such a great program. Uh I'll take our hand for next year over that hand.

I disagree Facey is the key. The key is Boatright. We know what we have with Napier. I feel confident Daniels and Calhoun will continue to blossom as they did at the end of last season. All we need from Facey Olander Nolan Brimah and Wolff is rebounding rebounding rebounding. We have depth (havent even mentioned Giffey and Samuel). Boatright is the wild card. He was all over the map last year. If he can improve his consistency outside shooting and decision making/leadership and make for a dynamic 1-2 back court punch with Shabazz than we can compete with anyone.

I was incredibly excited about 11-12 which is very depressing in retrospect. I can't count the number of times I watched Drummond's mixtapes with -eating grins.

I think the Sweet 16 is basically a given, Elite 8 is adequate. Anything less is a marginal failure. The goal, as is the case every year since 1998, is a national championship.

The sweet 16 is never a given.

Thanks for raininig on my parade. You must be a joy at parties.

This team was a bubble team team this year and with two wins in the BET, a sure fire NCAA tourney team. They lose one contributor whose main contribution came in practice and the lockerroom and they add a couple of front court guys plus experience. Barring the unforseen, I will be floored if this team loses before the second weekend.

Seriously Goodman? What a joke. Shabazz coming back means that UConn will be a top 25 team (I hope).

Sweet 16 is what you would expect based on what we've experienced as fans but saying its a "given" is a bit much.
