That kid was self driven and then pushed by others very hard throughout his life. Then the driving force, football, was taken away from him. I suspect he is one very brave dude and is finding another calling in life. Very admirable from my standpoint.

I never would have expected to see a folk singer in a polyester jump suit with top unzipped, bare footed on some rocks along a shore line. That is definitely an odd visual.

Reminds me of the incredibly talented people I grew up with who just went on to regular jobs and became regular people with families. I would sometimes be in awe of them and their incredible voices. People always seem to have interesting side gigs. You never know.
