The Horde is tweeting that CD did not practice today in order to rest her knee. She is probable for Sat. Probably the way to go the rest of the year.

She certainly didn't pace herself against LV. She's all over the court and fearless. You have to root for a kid who ignores her knee issue and continues to play every play as if it were the only thing that matters on earth.

i know i should not question the uconn coaching staff, but i kept wondering in the 2nd half why doty was playing so many minutes. obviously a close game , and she was shooting well, but it was such a rough game. she's averaging 21 minutes, but played 35 minutes. there's got to be a way to spell her , with banks, with stokes, or even with engeln. a minute or two, every now and then , can make a difference. somehow they've found a way to do it all season, and for good reason. hard to make a case for one game like that being more important than keeping caroline healthy for the important time of the season.
