DeBerry Honorable Mention
Ridiculous the way that 5'10" from a nearly 4 year old ESPN recruiting page will not die. Sloppy journalism.Did she shrink?
more like ntl championThis is old news, but 3 of these 10 players named (Johnson, Rivers & Feagin) are going to South Carolina to play for Dawn Staley. Needless to say, they can all play, and will get their share of playing time this year. The rich get richer. Baring injury, SC may be FF bound.
I guess UConn, Stanford should just concede?more like ntl champion
Not only that, but the South Carolina representation and Amari as honorable mention (remember she was only 15 on ESPN) suggests that ESPN was used as the principle source of information, a status they don't deserve. Remember they took forever to show Ayanna Patterson as a Uconn recruit as well.Ridiculous the way that 5'10" from a nearly 4 year old ESPN recruiting page will not die. Sloppy journalism.
Very possible. The usual suspects (you know who they are) will be on hand in late March jockeying for position to grab and hoist the trophy at the end of the tournament. UConn, Arizona, Stanford and South Carolina made the final four this year. Do they repeat, or will new participants scratch and claw their way to Minneapolis? The leading teams (the cream) should rise to the top of the national standings by the end of January. After the brackets have been revealed, it should be easy to figure out who wins 5 games.more like ntl champion
Barring injury, final four is a lock. They will be in the finals for the next three years, minimum. Don't forget, Boston has 2-3 more years ( probably will only stay through first championship ). Cardoso will have 4-5 years. Player of the year ( incoming frosh ) will have 4 years. On and on the gamecock wagon runs. This is old news, but 3 of these 10 players named (Johnson, Rivers & Feagin) are going to South Carolina to play for Dawn Staley. yes but can any of those players do this?
Underdog? I don't think so! We have the answer now to the inside game of the SC bigs with ONO, DJ, Amari and AE providing defense, rebounding & firepower, eh?Barring injury, final four is a lock. UCONN will be an underdog. A great one. But an underdog. It will be fun. They should schedule a UCONN v South Carolina women's game for Madison Square Garden. It would sell out at any price.
As long as UConn wins 6 games, I don't care who wins 5.Very possible.
