Syracuse had to vacate all wins from 2004-2005, 2005-2006, 2006-2007, 2010-2011, 2011-2012. Total of 135 wins.

Is that the final total? The verbage seems to state "vacate all wins in which ineligible men's basketball students played" so what about the times where say, and I'm just throwing this out there not knowing specifics, Fab Melo or Sutherland were pulled and the team still won?

Good point. Probably not the final total, but I think he'll still end up below Calhoun.

Magically no violations in their final 4 year in 2013 or in 2003?

Can't wait for the Cuse trolls to invade. I am loving this news all around. Was hoping for a postseason ban next near too, but the schollie reduction is huge (12 in 4 years -- down 3 per year). So no postseason will matter for a very long time. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

And they have to vacate their 2005 and 2006 Big East tournament championships. So now the final Big East record books will show them only winning 3 championships in the Big East--which ties them with St Johns and Louisville.

Does the record book give the championship to the runner up or is it essentially vacant or astericked if you will?

So we won the 6 OT game? (or at least we didn't lose it).

The NCAA will probably give him back the wins at a later date.

I wonder if Boehim will use his suspension as time to see a therapist about that constant nose picking thing he has going on.

That was a head-scratched for me, too. It's like the 2 years they don't cheat, Syracuse gets to the final 4 twice and wins one. Isn't usually the other way around?
