Can't be a coincidence

The timing of Susan's Rah-Rah email and today learning about a coaching change - in the wrong direction - can't be a coincidence. The email was not helpful. I'd even consider it as being disrespectful.

And I've been giving Warde a break. New kid on the block, inherited a lot of challenges, yatta yatta. No more. This one is on him. By not working quickly and effectively so shore up a leaking ship, at a level that he was hired to operate at and supposedly would excel at, it just toppled over and the passengers are flatlining. The deck chairs are floating, like so many seats at the Rent will be next year (other than the UM and UM games) and into most likely the next several years beyond.

How our student athletes are supposed to stomach this, I have no clue. (I do live in the real world and know they aren't all angels but they have been asked to rep their university, and they're being disrespected by all of this as well.)

I think it's a coincidence. Supposedly, Herbst's statement was going to come out earlier, but she held off due to Sandy Hook.
