Here on the Boneyard, we have an understandable fixation on our incredible rising senior AA's, Stewie and MoJet, plus lots of accolades for Morgan and Pheese and Katie Lou. And no wonder!

So we almost take Kia's greatness(!) for granted. And this young lady is like a taller version of Hartley - or even the inimitable Sue Bird.

Age 19. Three glorious UConn seasons to go. Damn!

Kia had a pretty good summer. I've always been very high on her, but two MVPs in elite international title games, including clearly being the best player on the floor in a game against Moriah and Stewie exceeded expectations.
