Canada - China 'classification game' on now

Kia had a really solid game - did not shoot well from the field but was 6-7 from the strip including cooly sinking four straight at the end when China was trying to close the gap with fouling. And drawing an offensive foul on an inbounds.
I really love the Princeton offense - used to love watching Pete Carril coached teams in the NCAAs put the fear of god into power teams. Their WNIT win with Armond Hill was amazing. I am surprised more teams do not run it even with the shot clock - 30 seconds is plenty of time and if you have moderate talent but high IQ players it can be a great equalizer - USA was not having a whole lot of fun defending it in that friendly with far superior talent.
Canada claims #5 in the WC - great result!

What a great finish for Canada, much better than expected, and with their best center not available. The future is bright for Canada (and for UCONN).
Kia played a smart game, always plays within herself, cool and comfortable. As we all know stats don't tell the complete story about how well a person plays but Kia's stats were respectable.

Well copy and paste from Excel didn't work as planned. It looked good before I clicked on the "Post Reply" button. Sorry.

Now Kia needs to stop goofing off and get back to classes ASAP !:cool:
