Can you name the 4 players left from WNBA 2010 Draft?

Wright hasn’t been in the league since 2016. The 4th is another 2nd rounder, Angel Robinson from Georgia. One of the worst drafts of all time.
Good knowledge. Thanks for the corrections! I just adjusted it.

2007 was a stinker. Lindsey Harding was the #1 pick. Noelle Quinn was the #4 pick.

There were many stinkers. Some of these drafts make you wonder how the WNBA didn't fold.

Yeah pretty bad...that draft had some good players though with Little, Harding, Latta, and Davenport. Probably about on part with 2010.

2003 and 2005 were pretty weak as well. 2017 is giving those a run for their money though. If Davis/Gray didn't declare early it could've been the worst of all time behind even 2000.

That make me appreciate Alysha Clark all the more.

There aren't many left after 8 years, but one of them is really, really good. In fact, she could become the WNBA career leader in rebounds AND points eventually.

What’s interesting to me about Clark is everyone thought she wouldn’t make it because she was basically a 5-11 center for Middle Tennessee. However she improved her game, worked on her shot and is a veteran in the league and a WNBA champion. Will be hard pressed to find anyone who thought that would be the case. Kudos to Clark and her fortitude.

It is also a reflection on an ever expanding universe of talent (national and international.) Eight years is a long professional career in any team sport - in the WNBA with 12 teams of 12 players = 144 total professionals and a draft of 36 players each year ... not much development time to prove yourself before being replaced. With a few superstars lasting 15+ years and more lasting 12+ years the number of spaces available become really tight.

Average career length for pro athletes in all fields is about 10 years - NFL is 3.3 yrs, NBA 4.8 years, MLB 5.6 yrs. With most WNBA drafts only producing maybe 15 players to make a team as a rookie it is not surprising to see a draft class be down to a few players pretty quickly. The players like Sue heading into season 18 skews the career length averages for a lot of players who disappeared in their first few seasons.
