I seem to remember him at one time being listed as a tackle, he has the size. Move him to RT and put the next best guard in his spot.

Imagine where we would be if Bennett didn't get an extra year.

What happened to Levy? P was praising him in the spring and he looks like he can eat Hemingway for lunch.

Hemingway is talking way too much abuse. He was much better this week.

The problem is not his weight, it's strength. Yes, he is undersized. But you can make that up with quick feet, better technique and strength.

Weight and strength tend to go hand in hand. I actually think Hemingway will be a good player down the road, but it's another failure by this coaching staff that they did not work/motivate him into the proper weight. There are too many supplements out there to not think he could have gained weight quicker.

Zone blocking claims to require lighter, quicker players, I wouldn't be surprised if Deleone has him at 275 by design.

I would be willing to bet that under GDL the offseason programs the OL are on are much different that they were under Foley and Edsall. Again, we didn't have the most talented guys, but they came in and got big, strong and mean. I really think GDL's goal was to develop quicker guys for a pro-style quick hit offense. He didn't have the personnel for that, but that didn't appear to stop him. I agree, Hemmingway doesn't look physically ready and it scares me to think where the younger guys are or aren't.
