Watched 2010-2011 UConn Men’s Team overcome all expert projections and Win the Title w/6 Freshmen, 2 Sophomores, 2 Juniors and 3 Seniors. Starting 2 Freshmen, 2 Sophomores and 1 Junior.

All the players contributed, bench developed experience through the season, team had big slumps, never stopped working hard or believing in each other, ended being the last team standing at end.

Get ready WBB...UConn Huskies are coming for you!

As long as the circumstances allow the season to go smoothly,(I think it will),then Uconn has an excellent chance of making it to the final-4.With all of the potential transfers and player movement it is hard to predict just how strong each program may become when the dust settles between now and November. Keep your fingers crossed that our gals will be running fastbreaks rather than running from an outbreak.

I just finished watching (one a day) the final 11 games of that year, starting with the 5 games in 5 days Big East Tourney. Great fun. I've now started on 2014, having watched the opening round game against St. Joes (Amida Brimah's shining moment!)

I remain hopeful for the WBB team. I think Evina's health will be a key. Also, how quickly can Paige make the jump? And I believe Aliyah Edwards could be a dark horse surprise. Meaningful minutes at the 4 (and maybe even a few at the 5) would be very important.
