Yeah! I was able to yesterday and then later on about 2 hrs later I couldn't. Now I get the X all the time

It showed up automatically when I posted. In the edit view it shows the gif.

The gifs are from the Boneyard thread posts. What it's looking like is the X is there when you post with gif (look at post #13) and then I just went back and it is now showing. Very strange?

Yep. And if you get that message for a gif and then you try to post a picture you get a quote server error message.

Low on my list of things to look into right now. A full script update may fix the problem, but that often disables features that haven't kept up with their own patches needed to work with the full script updates.
