Carlton 3 pts. and 4 rebs

Cobb just isn't afraid of the moment and seems to want it more. Carlton did play some pretty solid defense down the stretch, but cobb looks like a legitimate threat down low against the big teams.

If only we had a long, athletic, floor-spacing, shotblocking four man to pair with Cobb...

In all seriousness though, he has stepped up huge in these games. Really wish he brought more to the table defensively though.

The numbers tell the story. You need to gear your lineup for these type of games not the cupcakes. Cobb has the body that allow him to get shots off down low by creating space or just using his broad shoulders.

Cobb has been much more impressive and it isn't even close. The kid deserves the starting role, IMO...

Why is Cobb not starting and out on the court most of the game? His defense? I don’t get it. He is way more productive than Carlton.

It will be interesting how he plays against Florida State. We need him in there. After watching one game, my opinion, Florida State is no joke.

We need to see a 2 guard lineup with Sid and Polley on the wings and Cobb at center for extended minutes. Cobb is clearly a much better scorer and rebounder than Carlton but he gives up even more on defense. Give the 2 guards. Sid, Polley. and Carlton a look as well.

I'd be curious to see the statistics of the opposing "centers" production when matched up against both- just to compare.

We should see more of this when Diarra is back and you don't have to worry quite as much if Polley or Wilson gets in foul trouble.
