The 5th biweekly edition of the 2020-21 Boneyard Top 25 poll is rapidly approaching.

Ballots are due to me, via private message, by 11:00 a.m. ET on Monday, Jan. 18. (If you don't know how to send a PM, let me know in this thread and I will PM you first.) Please note: Ballots should reflect all games played through Sunday, Jan. 17.

Some notes and reminders:
  • Early ballots are generally not allowed, unless accompanied by instructions for contingency scenarios. All ballots need to reflect the same body of work, i.e., all games played through Sunday.
  • Please double-check your ballot for inadvertently repeated teams. This error is easy to make but none too easy to catch. Here's a tip: Once you think you have your final rankings, copy them into Word, Excel or a similar program, and then sort the team names alphabetically. This should make it readily apparent if any team is listed twice.
  • Full ballots (of 25 teams) are strongly encouraged; short ballots (of at least 10 teams) are accepted.
  • No ties are allowed on a ballot. Each team on the ballot must have a unique ranking.
  • All voters are welcome regardless of fan base affiliation. The only requirement is to have a Boneyard account. Also, there is no requirement to have participated in previous polls.

Boy, this week has been a hoot. Methinks there won't be a consensus #1. I'm barely able to settle on one.

Another extremely tough poll! Interested to see how it shakes out .

Bold Predictions:
  • Texas drops out, Georgia & Iowa St. slides in.
  • Nebraska might be the first team out (#26) even though I ranked them 25 because they beat 2 Top 25 teams & nearly beat a 3rd in Michigan.
  • Michigan cracks the top 10. (Me- #10)
  • Maryland & South Florida also moves up due to the losses above them.
  • Tennessee stays in because the loss to GA isn’t a bad loss anymore.

this has been a tough one. 1-19.. pretty easy ... 20-25... whew
Yes I agree Triad. 1-19 easy in terms of teams but it was a lot of shuffling for me with the amount of losses. I decided to bring 3 new teams in the polls, all of which landed at 23- 25 respectively.
