The 2th biweekly edition of the 2021-22 Boneyard Top 25 poll is rapidly approaching.

Ballots are due to me, via private message, by 11:00 a.m. ET on Monday, Nov. 22. (If you don't know how to send a PM, let me know in this thread and I will PM you first.) Ballots should reflect all games played through Sunday, Nov. 21.

images

Some notes and reminders:
  • The poll is open to anyone, regardless of fan base affiliation, who has a Boneyard account. You need not have participated in the preseason poll to submit a ballot for this one.
  • Early ballots are generally not allowed. Please don't submit your ballot until all potentially ballot-impacting games have been decided on Sunday.
  • Please double-check your ballot for inadvertently repeated teams, inadvertently excluded teams, and incorrectly named teams. The inadvertent repeats are the most common error. Here's a tip: Once you think you have your final rankings, copy them into Word or Excel or a similar program, and then sort the team names alphabetically. This should make it readily apparent if any team is listed twice.
  • Full ballots (of 25 teams) are strongly encouraged; short ballots (of at least 10 teams) are accepted.
  • No ties are allowed on a ballot. Each team on the ballot must have a unique ranking.
For reference, the preseason poll of Nov. 8 may be viewed here.

FYI: I'm aware that there's the potential for a UConn-South Carolina game at noon ET on Monday. However, the deadline for the Boneyard poll is timed to precede the usual release of the AP poll by noon every Monday.

If by chance the AP decides to postpone its poll by a few hours to account for this potential game, then and only then will the deadline for the BY poll be extended.

Attention voters:

The AP just announced that the poll will in fact be delayed until Tuesday (thank you to @Gamecockfan77 for breaking the news).

Therefore I recommend that we also delay our deadline by one day, until Tuesday at 11 a.m. Eastern time.

Just a quick clarification for our voters:

While the poll was postponed because of one particular game, the postponement means that ballots should reflect al games played through today (Monday). There aren't many other games today, but a small handful of Boneyard top 25 or "receiving votes" are in action. See updated table below.

Just a reminder that the new deadline, as noted in the modified thread title, is Tuesday, Nov. 23 at 11 a.m. Eastern time.

Again, ballots should reflect all games played through today. In addition to the South Carolina-UConn game, there is also the Oregon-South Florida game, as well as a few others involving teams in the top 25 or "receiving votes".
