The 2th biweekly edition of the 2021-22 Boneyard Top 25 poll is rapidly approaching.

Ballots are due to me, via private message, by 11:00 a.m. ET on Monday, Nov. 22 Tuesday, Nov. 23. (If you don't know how to send a PM, let me know in this thread and I will PM you first.) Ballots should reflect all games played through Sunday Monday, Nov. 21 22.

Edit to add (Sun. evening): Since the AP poll has been postponed until Tuesday, the Boneyard Top 25 ballot deadline has also been postponed 24 hours, until 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday.

Some notes and reminders:
  • The poll is open to anyone, regardless of fan base affiliation, who has a Boneyard account. You need not have participated in the preseason poll to submit a ballot for this one.
  • Early ballots are generally not allowed. Please don't submit your ballot until all potentially ballot-impacting games have been decided on Sunday.
  • Please double-check your ballot for inadvertently repeated teams, inadvertently excluded teams, and incorrectly named teams. The inadvertent repeats are the most common error. Here's a tip: Once you think you have your final rankings, copy them into Word or Excel or a similar program, and then sort the team names alphabetically. This should make it readily apparent if any team is listed twice.
  • Full ballots (of 25 teams) are strongly encouraged; short ballots (of at least 10 teams) are accepted.
  • No ties are allowed on a ballot. Each team on the ballot must have a unique ranking.
For reference, the preseason poll of Nov. 8 may be viewed here.

FYI: I'm aware that there's the potential for a UConn-South Carolina game at noon on Monday. However, the deadline for the Boneyard poll is timed to precede the usual release of the AP poll by noon every Monday.

If by chance the AP decides to postpone its poll by a few hours to account for this potential game, then and only then will the deadline for the BY poll be extended.

== == ==

As an aid to voters, the results for BY25 teams since the preseason poll are shown below, along with the games still to be played through the weekend. Please remember that ballots should reflect all games played through Sunday.

(If you notice any mistakes or omissions, please comment below and I will edit.)

Updating the table below to include Friday's and Saturday's games.

Just a reminder that ballots should reflect all games played through today. Early ballots are generally not allowed.

On the off chance that the AP postpones its poll tomorrow to account for the Battle 4 Atlantis final, the 11 a.m. Monday deadline may be extended.

The 2th biweekly edition of the 2021-22 Boneyard Top 25 poll is rapidly approaching.

Ballots are due to me, via private message, by 11:00 a.m. ET on Monday, Nov. 22. (If you don't know how to send a PM, let me know in this thread and I will PM you first.) Ballots should reflect all games played through Sunday, Nov. 21.

images

I was prepared to submit mines this morning but all the ranked matchups today :D:D. Time to shake these rankings up Monday morning

So the AP has delayed the poll....
Thank you for pointing this out. I was anticipating this could happen. The only other time was for the inaugural UConn-Tennessee game of January 1995.

I recommend that we delay the ballot deadline until 11 a.m. on Tuesday. Thoughts?

You're still welcome to begin working on your ballot. Most of the data you need is already available.

I have my ballot ready to go. It's just a matter of who is #1 and who is #2.

And just a quick clarification:

The postponement means that ballots should reflect all games through today (Monday). While there aren't many other games today, there are a few other BY top 25 and "receiving votes" teams in action. See updated table below.

I don't think it's important and I'm not mad and I don't think it needs to be a thing: but I'm interested in hearing the rationale of the coach who voted Stanford #1 this week.

I could see Maryland?
