UW should be able to break their 7 game conference losing streak, but I'm still nervous. Can't have another game w/ sub 30% shooting and the starters doing basically nothing the whole game.

Might be just about the last winnable game on the schedule for Cal (or maybe at home against USC?).

Well, that was only factual. A few weeks ago their RPI was in the 60s, and If they'd hung on against UCLA and USC, they'd now have two wins over RPI top 10 teams and their RPI would've been well within range. Oh what could have been. A seven-game losing streak has been the downfall of many a contender.

Kind of what I figured, Melgoza going scoreless Friday night against Stanford is the first time that has happened since her Fr. season.

As I pointed out in a previous game, I think UW has realized that getting an early double-digit lead has been a losing strategy. So they decided to try a different approach.

Yeah, that worked out perfectly in a 17 point loss. Looking more like a 25 or 30 point beat down today. I think they need to move their remaining home games to road games, then they might have a chance.

I'm watching gymnastics now, more entertaining.

UW cut the lead to 10, but now it's back to 14. Rees and Henson have scored a combined 8, still 2 starters scoreless. Melgoza not scoring much in Q3.

The season has been trending the wrong direction for weeks, but this is absolutely disastrous.

The lone silver lining is that Quay Miller has been improving nicely as the season has progressed. She has 13 today.

An offensively challenged team can't get 17 behind in the first half. Was a 12 point deficit a minute ago but now back to 16. Still under 30% shooting for the gang who can't shoot straight, and 3-18 behind the arc.
