Not surprisingly this is looking like a bounce back game. 11-2 Cats about midway thru Q1.

Cal has to be one of the worst Pac 10/12 teams ever.

Reese is finding life easier w/out Belibi, Jones and Brink swatting her shots. 4-5 and 8 points, 39-10 Cats at the half.

So, UofA is doing to Cal what Stanford did to UofA...

BTW, did anyone see Adia’s Post game presser after the Stanford game? I am curious to hear her perspective...

If transitive properties exist, ASU is in serious trouble today...

It was well on its way before Lindsey left and she left a pretty bare cupboard..

Why oh why did Daniels pick Cal? She's probably asking herself the same thing.

Yeah. This is true. But Coach Charmin Smith has been with that program for at least a decade, should not be that much of a drop off in terms of coaching, talent and skill development. To be 0-9...with that roster?

51-16 midway thru Q3. Cal is gonna be really hard pressed to crack the 30 point barrier at this rate.

Looks like Arizona took their foot off the gas in Q4. 69-33 final.

According to the paper, much of what was said by folks here. Commending Stanford above all for depth. Outstanding players, and also Stanford players don't try and do what they don't do. If they play down low, they don't try and shoot 3's; if they are a 3 point specialist, they don't try and drive. Etc. Cited Stanford as the top team and playing like it. Either in this presser or another, she commented that there is a gap between the top teams and the rest - one of the advantages of the top teams is that they have the ability to force the game into being played the way they want.

On a separate note, she said that Stanford can be beaten, yes, even by Arizona, but it would take a near "perfect" game, and we didn't even have a good one. She said our shooting wasn't simply cold, Stanford enforced their will and made our players shots miss.

On a separate note, the paper reported that Stanford played this as a "revenge" game for losing in Tucson last year. Tara spoke about it and it was a locker room "posting", as well as the headline on the Stanford "report" of the game.

As you may know, Adia is friendly with Tara, they speak quite often.

Thanks @KnightBridgeAZ, much appreciated. With UCLA leading at Oregon, it may be a team of 1, separate from the rest...

One of the more underrated features of Tara is how much of a supporter she has been to her fellow coaches, knowing full well that their success could come at her expense. I can't think of another top coach in any sport who has been a bigger supporter, booster, and mentor for fellow coaches as Tara, especially within their own conference, where the rivalries can be especially deeply held.
