My son went to camp this summer...and although they have little contact, he gave an opening speech. In it, he didn't blow up the boys' heads...he told them to be grateful they had a family member that cared enough to sacrifice to get them there. I was practically tearing up because you can just tell he's a family man, and it was a huge sacrifice because I really scraped to get the money together. Kemba said that JC turned him into a man, and this is the type of lesson and values he carries to do just that. While I am amazed at his energy, his success and accolades, what I am most impressed with the fact that he used his well-known name to contribute to many charities and the way his players are, well, 'his players,' how they would always come back home and are truly a family. That speaks volumes as to the type of man and coach he is.
